Field Property Claims Representative II - Central and South Central IN
Indiana Farmers Insurance is currently looking for an experienced Field Property Claims Professional to join our Claims Team. This position is focused on all types of structures, including farm and commercial risks. The ideal candidate will service counties in Central and South Central Indiana and will be local to that area.
The right candidate will investigate, assess damages, write structural property estimates, make coverage decisions, and ultimately resolve personal, commercial and farm property claims. Each internship opportunity is unique as we incorporate a holistic, well-rounded experience for the students.
If you are majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or other related field of study and enjoy problem-solving, we may have the right internship for you this Summer!The .Net Development Intern will work alongside a diverse project group (.Net Developers, Database Developers, Quality Assurance professionals, Business Analysts and Project Managers), to develop web applications according to specifications and business requirements. Additionally, the right candidate will maintain and debug existing system modules, perform unit testing of modifications and enhancements to ensure system integrity and utilize internal defect tracking software during project development and as projects are completed.

Indiana Farmers Insurance is currently looking for a highly motivated Agency Sales Representative to join our Sales Team. The ideal candidate will have sales experience, will understand Property & Casualty Insurance coverages, and will be computer savvy.
This position works directly with assigned agencies to promote Indiana Farmers by developing and implementing sales, profitable growth and retention plans, as well as training agents on our products, processes and technology. As an Assistant Underwriter in personal lines, you will assist our underwriters and agency partners in the creation and delivery of customized insurance products for our customers. Our underwriting team uses facts and information to apply rates and determine premiums, specific limits, deductibles, conditions and endorsements, for accounts approved for coverage.
